This is our second tour with OAT. From the moment you join the tour you are welcomed and made feel part of the family. The guides are well qualified, friendly and so knowledgable. You are taken to all the points of interest but also to places your average traveller would not go to. On this tour to Cape York and Torres Strait, our savannah guides Brett and Kathy were fabulous. We learned a lot and had a lot of laughs along the way.Deborah B, Duranbah
An awesome experience! Our group returned on Thursday from an outstanding Cape York and Torres Strait tour. Our tour guides, the Dynamic Duo, Kathy and Brett, were the best guides by far, of any other tour guides, I have encountered on my travels. Their knowledge of the area we travelled was second to none. Their consideration and thoughtfulness was felt and appreciated by everyone on our tour. One would be very hard pressed to find anything to complain about on this tour. The knowledge shared by our guides along the way was priceless, the scenery was spectacular, the accommodation was very good, the food was plentiful (huge meals) and good quality and the coach was very comfortable. My travelling companions were awesome and we all had a fantastic time. Again, can't praise Kathy and Brett enough. What an asset they are to OAT. Thanks for the memories.Geraldine, Brisbane
An excellent trip with OAT in July. Could not fault - itinerary - 4WD vehicle - accommodation - guide & driver - all inclusive cost - interesting destinations. Good value for money. Great to support an Australian enterprise. Would highly recommend it to anyone.Lorraine M
This was an 11 day tour from Cairns to the Tip of Australia, with a flight back to Cairns from Horn Island. Kathy and Brett were fantastic tour guides full of stories and information from having lived in the Cape for over 3 years and visited it many other times. When a scheduled visit wasn't possible because a facility was closed for some reason, they had a substitute available eg Finch Beach and Red Beach. We saw so much, learnt so much, laughed so much, ate so much! Highlights were the Daintree, Cooktown, Weipa, the Tip, and the Torres Strait Islands. But everyday was enjoyable. Highly recommended!Eunice, Sydney
Fabulous! Cathy and Brett were amazing, knew the area like the back of their hands. They were alert to everything making the time wonderful and easy. The two night stops were good, the food great and the beds comfy and clean. The tour means you do not need to spend any money from start to finish unless you want a beer, and to buy cards and caps etc. The tour was informative, educational , entertaining and highly recommended.Elizabeth
