Customer Reviews

  • Camden Park Station tour - The tour of Camden Park Station was excellent, we were picked up by Dan who is the guide, bus driver, historian and a farmer and his son, Harley. His knowledge of the property owned by his family since his grandfathers days was great. His dreams for how to be able to make Camden Park viable in the drought ravished country were inspirational. Changing the sheep breed to South African Dorchas (I apologize for the incorrect spelling) to reduce costs but then his willingness to change again if this idea doesn't live up to expectations. The homestead and the stories about past experiences was fantastic but unpretentious. The introduction to the shearing shed and his experiences as a young man up to the present was great. A beautifully prepared morning tea by Dan's wife Brook the Yacht Club dam finished the morning on a high note.

  • Camden park afternoon tour - Had a great afternoon with Daniel at Camden Park. This tour was book as part of the main attractions pass with Outback Aussie. I would throughly recommend this tour as it is a great chance to see the beautiful home which has been visited by the Queen, Prince Charles and Australian Prime Ministers. The tour, the history plus the lovely afternoon tea around the artesian pool all make this a great insite to a very special property
