In the light of the late afternoon, journey through the spectacular changing colors of floodplain, Gidgee, Open Downs, Ghost gums and Red Mulga Country. Our heritage 2000 class Rail Motors offer a selection of drinks for purchase to complement your onboard canapés as you relax and soak up the Romance of Rail. Travelling as the sun slowly sets in the west, the afterglow forms on the secret lagoon; an incredibly relaxing way to finish the day.
For dinner we connect you with our incredible Smithy’s Outback Dinner & Show. Settle back and enjoy an evening to remember dining under the stars beside the Coolibah-lined Thomson River. Enjoy the ease of table-service as you tuck into succulent camp-oven cuisine cooked on a fire of gidgee coals at Smithy’s followed up with seasonal deserts. Round the evening off with freshly baked damper and your choice of billy tea or coffee. A good selection of wine, cold beer, softdrinks and select pre-mixes are available for purchase from our licensed bar. Live on stage our talented outback performer will entertain you with their songs and stories.
