Over 35 years experience in showcasing the Outback has highlighted the challenges of remote areas and tough conditions. This knowledge has equipped us to make sound and informed decisions about customer safety and comfort which are paramount. Over the years we have modified and custom-built our own vehicles to meet the specific operating conditions in the Outback. We have a fleet of 6 vehicles ranging from 14 to 65 seats.
The following features are now standard in Outback Aussie Tours vehicles:
- Full reclining coach seats with lap sash seatbelts
- Leg room with foot rests, and retractable armrests
- Fully ducted air-conditioning and curtains and tinted windows
- Satellite phone, mobile phone and UHF radio installed in 4WD touring vehicles used in remote areas
- Onboard toilets available in our 4WD and extended touring vehicles
- PA, television, CD, DVD and road camera
- Reference materials
- Homemade catering and drinking water
- Fridge and/or eskies
- Superior interior, sound-proofed comfortable ride
- Dust-proof saloon and luggage bins
- Advanced safety features including ABS brakes
- Extensive First Aid kit, tool kit, spare tyres
