Current Vacancies:
Sales/Reservations Coordinator (March – October 2025) – able to commit to the full 2025 season
This position is a key part of the reservations team and will be responsible for selling and booking Outback Aussie Tours Extended Tours and Experiences. You will need to maintain high levels of communication, efficiency and accuracy.
Cook (April – October 2025) – 3-5 days per week
This position is a key part of the Hospitality team and will be responsible for providing guests with an outstanding dining experience across all our River and Rail tours.
Fleet Coordinator (April – October 2025) – casual position
This position is a key part of the Operations Team and will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and scheduling of Outback Aussie Tours Fleet. This position could be combined with the Master Skipper role for additional hours.
Guided Overland Driver/Host Team (April – October 2025) – half and full day rates available
This position is a key part of the operations team and will be responsible for providing guests with a knowledgeable, memorable, safe and comfortable tour experience which relates to the region being visited.
Master Skipper (April – October 2025) – operation of cruises 5-6 days of the week with approximate shifts of 4.5hrs
This position is a key part of the operations team and will be responsible for providing guests with a knowledgeable, memorable, safe and comfortable tour experience which relates to the Thomson River. This position could be combined with the Fleet Coordinator role for additional hours.
Hospitality Host (April – October 2025) – approximately 3-5 days per week
This position is a key part of the Hospitality team and will be responsible for the host duties across our River and Rail tours and at Smithy’s Outback Dinner and Show.
Local/Charter Driver (April – October 2025)
This position is a key part of the operations team and will be responsible for providing guests with knowledgeable, memorable, safe and comfortable tour experiences for our River and Rail products and scheduled local and overland charters.
